In our dars we just finished al-Inshiqaq. Point made from ayah six: from the moment of our entrance into the world, whether we like it or not, we have no choice but to keep moving towards the final Destination--a journey which ends with the moment of death, the mulaqih. No matter what we do, we cannot alter this state--protracted for some, shortened for others, but to all the end comes. Maulana Farahi calls it the "trade in ice".
A fundamental truth which reaches down into the depths of my being and makes me want to retch: belief without implementary action is nifaq!!!
