and then our exile

Never underestimate the power of a warm shower. Nae'im nae'im!

Today i was swinging in the hammock under the sky. One rope untied itself and i fell to the ground into a small lake with a boom. The hammock wintered outside, you see, and knots were loose. Except i didn't know that and so got wet.

Also we started clearing trails--first time this year. Me with the hoe, as is my wont. Attacked a poplar sapling with all of Wuddistan watching...and the hoe broke. Not that the blade jumped off, that happened too, but the actual wooden handle splintered. Alas and alack. And then i got a small lecture about not using a hoe as an axe. Apologies to my goode cousin Phillip Stephen Harder. Hum.

Also also walking in the sun with Usman. Tasbeeh for that.

Stan Getz and Dvorak have taken a break: the new people following me around are St.Matthew and Diana Krall.
