and then our exile

Sunday, September 19, 2004 at 10:13 a.m.

i had a glorious, massive post laid out--would make up for the week i've been remiss, in that it was literally everything from analyzing how i receive Syria to tales of Damascene myth and Qur'an recitation and own current adventures to how i miss people and to how i find the current phase much like i'tikaaf, because of various reasons, and quotes of different people and how classes are going and the jasmine flower under the crescent moon.

Then i thought of what i meant to say, and suddenly it was bloody hell, who do i think i am, with my clever verbal posturing and my sophisticated shadows?

and so i decided to leave: this glob's on hiatus, and so for that matter is autochthonous@gmail.com. Unless you are family with logistics to discuss, future communication is

> BKI, etc
> c/o Khalid Shaybani
> PO Box 34729
> Main Central Post Office
> Damascus, Syria

It'll only take two months for me to reply, but: i love as i live, and this is death, and worse.

i'm inshaAllah in my own place as soon as possible, but Khalid will know where i am thereafter as well, so the address remains.

i may return in two weeks, a month, whatever. When i do, i will shout.

Remember me in your dreams.

Du'a.
