and then our exile

i'tikaaf begins tonight - if you need to find me, i'll be at the MCE or on campus till 'eid (nov3or4).

two things till then (barring unexpected events.):
- (i do not want to sound like doris lessing, but) clothing is a political act.
- after reading that garp-book (and i know at least three people who read this style themselves feminists, so do not be offended, but): reductionist frameworks are popular. maybe their appeal also stems from their simplicity? "the quest for simplicity".

"the cruellest thing you can do to someone in the modern world is make them ashamed of complexity" - what'shisname hodgeson.
