Wuddistan is growing together from its "construction site" state, but it is dusty work. Planting, clearing, cutting, hauling. The maydays, saskatoons--all wish upon bloom. Mosquitoes too. Blundered with something that should've been a secret, took another Quantum Leap in timing.
This's been kicking around for a while. My turn.
-if you call me Basit, you are most likely a friend-acquaintance-teacher-randomperson.
-if you call me Wuddy or Amir-Sahib during times warm and fuzzy, you are most likely of familyness.
-if you call me Basito, you're a leftover from grade six, either Caito, Samirio, or King Thomas of Greenwood.
-if you used to call me AbdulBasit, you are either Huud or Emad, and i keep on meaning to contact you. :(
-if you think my name *is* AbdulBasit, you are most likely an Arab.
-if you have been known to term me a Mountain Goat, you are a Fish-Eating Iron Fist, cordially known as Mr.University^(tm).
-if you call me Che Guevara, you are [MotorcycleMike] and enjoy climbing buildings.
-if you call me Pablo One-Hair, you are [Brother Bilbo-become-Cairene] and need to email me because cutting your ties with a fellow Muslim for more than three days is HARAM. (um.) And the other day i wanted to talk to you but realized you were whoa far awae. :@
-if you call me Stephen Harper, you are [Belinda Stronach] and aw, what a c*t**, and you owe me lots of things. hee. poke.
-if you have dubbed me the *Battle Rabbi*, you are the [indefatigable Stephen Beckman].
-if i am MyFundamentalistFriend, you are JohnM and must be retrieved from atheism.
-if you call me Baseet, Bosseet, Bazeet, Baesit, Baeseet, Bassett, Bossid, or any derivative of the above, you need to contact me right awae so i can set you straight. For the record, it's /ba/ as in /barn/ and /sit/ as in /seen to the kathra to the ta/. Yeah.
i can't think of any more. Only news@later: people are for missing and memories are timeless. In three months no longer can i lie on warm grass with mayday petals on my nose = photo op. i'm boycotting the world till we get back from Saskatoon. Goodbye. Du'a.
