The [University of Alberta] [Muslim Students' Association] invites you to the 3rd Annual Islamic Symposium: "Maintaining Our Muslim Identity in the West"

Friday July 9th to Sunday July 11th
July 9th - at the Provincial Museum of Alberta (12845-102Ave), 7PM to 10PM
July 10th and 11th - at the Myer Horowitz Theatre in SUB (U of A Students' Union Building) from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM [campus map]

oh, and something else everyone needs to go to is the premiere of [A New Life in a New Land: the Muslim experience in Canada]: next Friday, also with a concert by Dawud Wh*rnsby Ali. (Ph-R-D: look, i know he's not exactly 786 (cough-gasp-wheeze) but still. :) Point is, Br.Milo interviews Abi in the documentary, and the Alamis are also featured.
