and then our exile

missing in action,
the life of this world!

and images of syria,
and a rushing forward plunge!

the days and times,
missing from the record!

I was going to email you about this, bro, but since you've adopted the blogger comments, I can leave this here -

I was recently having issues with my enetation comments having disappeared as well, so I found the following solution off their forum:

Log into your enetation account and click on the "debug" link on the lefthand side, then click on the "Fix user.php counters" option. This link will regenerate the comment counter code. It may take 2 or 3 minutes for the fix to filter through to all slave servers. Hit "refresh" on your blog, and hopefully you'll once again see all your missing comments.

Hope that helps inshaAllah, provided you do still want to use the enetation comments. I'm liking the new template mashaAllah. =)

so my dear brother zacharia started a rumour that the commentbox disappeared "accidentally" because of muntaqa's (mis)use, as per lustful hair and hippie chicks and so on. just a rumour though.

farooq - ah yes akhi.

jawad - i prefer the word hobo. did emad ever tell you about his hobo philosophy? we have a great respect for hobos.
that, or else i am cultivating a physical image of glory!

yasmine - i was watching your site for a while and kept on watching the fact your comments were...still there. which made me think the interweb was against me specifically. tried experimenting with the enetation code but it didn't work, so gave up. losing them is one of few regrets on new layout. thanks. (:

but you can still bring back the same enetation comments link (including old comments) even though it's a new layout! at least, you should be able to. let me know if you'd like me to fiddle around with it using my kindergarten html skills. can't promise anything, but i can at least try inshaAllah. i liked your old comments, too.

akhee - slander is haram in islam. may Allah fix your tongue.

i did not start a rumor: i simply asked you, privately, at an internet cafe in damascus, if you had removed the comments because of muntaka's comments. and then you laughed in your sly wuddistan way and said something that i didnt hear.

i am proud of myself, since it seems I make grown men quiver and shake when considering if they should put up comments to the inner thoughts of their personas :P

:D

zacharia - amen.....may He indeed. ^_^

muntaqa - what you need to ask yourself is why you are afraid to put comments on your own site.

You need to watch your insinuation-loaded 'innocent' questions young, bearded, crazy-haired, handsome one :@.

...um?

here, let me write you a letter.

dear muntaqa.
i have known you for about four or five years now, and throughout this time our banter has taken various different forms, from the days of the iron fist to those of rennaissance men. one constant, though, was that we each were able to respond in kind. there was an ah how shall i say this a level playing ground. which you've dismantled.
...in other words, let farooq and myself unleash commenting wrath on your own site, and then i might deign to reply to your lopsided attempts at wit. :@
