- mr. leonard cohen, who apparently woke up from his buddhistic meditation to find he was almost broke. it was on cbc a while back.
on cbc yesterday, about global warming, and how we should all prepare to die. i am serious: it is serious.
driving into the city the other day, saw picketers sitting on their CBC-truck hoods kicking their feet, with signs like "LOCKED OUT BY CBC".
i thought of something yesterday: the "la madhhabiyyah" would, if literal definitions were considered, be called "liberals". amusing when you think of who usually falls under the label.
"history is a nightmare from which i am trying to wake up"
- joyce's dedalus.
