many more thoughts, relating to postmodernist histories, the sterilization of religion, and so on...but for later, another day and another time. i think i'll flush out the initial thought in this afternoon's post, try to make it more coherent. etc.

today i listened to a jesuit priest from the vatican talk about a contracting and expanding universe, the place of jesus, and a new definition of Soul.

for now, though, something babaji just quoted which made me laugh:
q: prof. pietsch, what do you think of kant?
a: kant is dead.
q: what do you mean?
a: i mean...kant is dead. let's talk about something else.
