One thing i am starting to stress to myself is getting physical memory of this place down, visual and auditory, because later i will wish i had. And stumbled across some sites with other syrian/type photography, now under the "miscellane" link.

i was actually thinking of writing about [this] billboard as well, because i found it quite hilarious. The juice shop and fruit stand she has on her site, they're right around the corner from where we're living right now.
