This website is despite appearances not an altar to my humble id.

I need to learn to answer questions appropriately.
Someone asked me, at a sendoff meal at a restaurant, what i'd done since getting here. "You want me to produce all my accomplishments," i said, half-laughing with an edge, "to list all my conquests."
Then I covered for myself and was more polite.
