and then our exile

a - the snow is melting. (it is the natural consequence of spring, the usual sorrows.)
b - this has dire consequences for snow-bound activities, skiing, et al.
c - when we cast our mental eye backward and towards, we find a number of things one perhaps did then that one no longer does. this is because we are become old in our worries, steeped in mediocrity, staid and banal.
d - the day calls for action. as fahd today so eloquently put it - "we might be dead tomorrow". we must do today, what we feel we would do tomorrow.
e - and thus - tomorrow, after jum'ah (2.45PM) gather in QUAD for a Snowball Extravaganza.

COME. and revisit your youth. and remember who you used to be. and tell everyone you know. we will have tea or hot chocolate or something after, but it is friday afternoon and the snow is melting and you need to be there.
