ha
well...i can justify it, though it is a stretch? but it is a long story, involves vikings and little green frogs and bob marley.
marcel and kierkegaard do write beautifully. gabriel & so\ren, i'm honestly interested in them, so despite the sartre and camus, for their sake i will take such a course.

I've heard unfortunate things about 299.
(Not "I'm a neoconservative, empowerment is bad!" unfortunate. "Poorly thought-out curriculum with minimal insight" unfortunate.)
This might be out of date, however.

hm. i'll look into it.
also, i saw a course sometime last year that was called grassroots something-or-other, but it's disappeared. it was along these same lines, participatory/locale-based democracy...would take that instead, if i can find it. congratulations, by the way. saw council winner-people-notifications today in the gateway.

I can't believe you don't have even *one English course. Bah on your courselist.
I even went and checked out your University's website. It's intriguing that English and Film Studies share a department.

f - yes, well. also, i think all our drama groups should do a sendoff picnic on tuesday after class.
fathima - i know. i'm sorry, it is the sacrificial lamb of englisch kneeling before the altar of pragmatism.
as for FS & englisch - i'd never thought it was strange, had just accepted as the way it always has been. but now i see the logic behind it.

Make sure that you have Gordon Lee for ECON 101.

we plan and plan...and the plans fall apart. all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put the plans back together again...

alan - done. i saw you walking yesterday with mustafa hirji, but had just gone running and was too tired to say hello.
sammerai - ha yes it is terribly self-absorbed, isn't it?
a bit of both.
