already the faint sheen of green is spreading to embrace the earth. i witnessed summer clouds, they burst into the sky, and at night then the silver night marks with absolute clarity the boundaries we have constructed. (which is more real or which falls into the half-space between dissonance and granite or which do i choose)

last week i broke the record i established a few years ago, i believe it had been 6 hours over three days; this now fifteen minutes over two days. by the end memory grows choppy with sunspots, but essays and assignments and all are done. wa'lhamdulillah.

mawlid-date inshaAllah is instead this thursday. afternoon of april13.

i belonged at last / to babylon
