on tuesday i had just sat down in the blue room to eat my lunch when a completely random person passing by took in the adopt-a-town tshirt, blue kufi, and of a sudden a huge, half-hour debate on the role of amreeka in iraq, western pluralism, questions of paternalism and hypocrisy, after which he walked away without even telling me his name.
yesterday inertia embraced me for her own. and today farooq and salwa came for breakfast. how right and comfortable it felt, doing dishes, then walking outside.

=) Owais Qadri! Are you going to sing the Ishq Kay Rang Mein nasheed? Because I will come to Canada, just for THAT, then! =) It's my new favorite nasheed; I can play it on repeat forever. Alhamdulillah. Any other nasheeds of his I should be checking out?
