and then our exile

it is not "the things which i have seen i now can see no more", that was past months, nor is it reversal, but - as though the earth itself were pushing up against and through and beyond, between our criss-crossing roads and asphalt. driving away from the city - the green earth, the wide great green earth, rolling hills, trees, herfords, water. as though these things were real.
it is a wild time to be alive. a mad season, an edge to the world, a danger and a greatness and the brink of might.
flieg ich durch die welt
i ab a gold but was still vocal, a course i am not taking. the catholic church, debates and encyclicals. last class on thursday evening as the summer slips away. "slip slidin' away."
